Three decades of efficient and accurate water resource assessment throughout the Southeastern US, on projects from tens to thousands of acres, implementing field methods including US Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation, NC Stream Identification, NC Stream and Wetland Assessment, and Coastal Wetland delineation.

Applying a thorough knowledge of current and upcoming rules and staying actively involved in multiple professional associations, along with continuous communication with regulators, ensures the most efficient pathway for your project through ever-changing laws on the federal, state and local level.   

Inver excels in preparing detailed NEPA and SEPA documents meeting funding agency requirements, including Federal Categorical Exclusions and Environmental Assessments and contributing to Environmental Impact Statements, for the NC Division of Waste Management, NC Division of Water Infrastructure, US Department of Agriculture and more. 

Inver provides a full suite of services related to protected species including identification of regulatory and funding requirements under Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act, initial habitat assessments, species surveys, and informal or formal consultation with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service.  

Inver has over 20 years of experience managing NCDOT natural resource projects and contracts from on-call services to the Environmental Analysis Unit (2001-06 & 2008-2023), Division projects, local administered projects, and Design-Build permitting efforts. The knowledge and experience to assist your team in peak workload, or ensuring that you meet NCDOT requirements and protocols.

Over twenty five years of experience pursuing and completing Design-Build and other large projects under accelerated schedules and complex layers of regulations.   Working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, Inver has the ability and experience to lead the permitting pursuit and acquisition, or consult and provide peer review for existing environmental staff.
